Homes in

Malvern Hills

Malvern Hills is a friendly community that lies in the Western portion of Asheville, lying South of Patton Avenue and bordered by the popular Bear Creek Road. Homes in this area were predominantly built in the late 1940's and early 1950's, sporting traditional to mid-century housing styles, and have a traditional suburban layout with community gardens and sidewalks lining each road. Residents here also enjoy access to the Malvern Hills Community pool, and quick access to Patton Avenue, West Asheville's Downtown, and highways I-26 and I-240.

Historically, Malvern Hills was founded by an entrepreneur in the late 1800's who created the Belmont Hotel. The Belmont Hotel was a destination for travelers to enjoy the naturally occuring sulphur springs, and the hotel existed for almost half a century before the building burnt down. A few decades later, a developer began establishing the neighborhood plan for what now has become Malvern Hills. Feel safe being within a 15 minute drive to Mission Hospital, and travel easy by being within a 20 minute drive to the Asheville Regional Airport.

When you choose to live in the Malvern Hills area, you have access to a wealth of local amenities. The northern end of the neighborhood is bordered by Patton Avenue, which is host to many restaurants, grocery stores, retailers, gyms and more, and provides quick access to Downtown Asheville. Most homes are also within a five minute drive of the West Asheville Downtown area, where locals spend time eating  and drinking at fun and funky restaurants, breweries, and bakeries. Even outdoor enthusiasts will be pleased, as there are numerous smaller hiking trails, river walks, and community parks just a short drive away.
